Co-Founder of Monetas with Chris Odom. Johann was later the Founder and President of the Tezos Foundation.

Monetas was the commercial company built on top of the Open Transactions open source project. Notably, Monetas was one of the very first crypto/fintech companies to incorporate in Zug, and Johann was a champion for the idea of “Crypto Valley”. Johann was pivotal in persuading the Ethereum Foundation to make their home in Zug.
